Trip post part one: Cologne, Germany and the QAF convention

Ok, so I said I would make posts about my trip to Europe, and for once, I'm keeping that promise.  I know it's super late, but ya know, whatever.  ;)  So first up is Cologne, Germany and the Queer as Folk convention, June 6-10.

And I am also not into the club-scene... so totally not. And I would've loved to leave better sooner than later, but in the end, I was glad I had to wait for my friend to leave too, because seeing Robert, Peter, Michelle and Scott dancing and making fun for/with us... was really simply amazing (and saved the night, btw.)

It was a great weekend, even though not everything turned out as it was planned.

Yeah, I just couldn't deal with the club night after the chaos from night before. But I'm glad it worked out for those who stayed and that Peter, Robert, Scott, and Michelle were awesome and came out and danced. :)

Thank you for sharing your experiences! It was indeed a great weekend, even with all the problems with the organization. I've done close to 20 conventions myself so some of the problems did frustrate me to a certain end but looking back, I've mostly forgotten all about that and I just concentrate on the great experiences and new friends.

Regarding Sharon's first comment on stage, I did include that in my report as well. Only, I just realized that I haven't really shared the report with anyone, just mainly my own lj-friends and some people they might have told about it :) However, if you want to check my report out (it's in three parts and pretty long), the first part is here and there's a link to the second part in the end.

You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I've been trying to focus on the good aspects of the weekend instead of the problems, too. It was a great time overall, and that's all that really matters. :)
