40,200 words. Wow. Just, wow. Of course, what I have are large parts of at least three separate stories, not one, certainly not anything resembling a coherent narrative through-line. But that is OK. I didn't actually embark on this to get a novel-per-se out of it, I wanted to Get Stuff Written, and for that it is working very well

I'm so impressed with people who manage to do nano. I meant to this year, I really did, but it (and every other item below critical importance, plus a few) fell away into nothing happening.
