First off, as so many others have said before and will say again, Thank You. Thank you for writing, thank you for participating, thank you for loving something (or things!) I also love. I hope you will enjoy writing this piece, and what ever it is, I am sure I will enjoy reading it.

I've seen mentions of Yuletide before and I'm curious as to what it is, any chance you could enlighten me? It looks like something I might want to get involved with! :)

yuletide is the yearly winter-holiday small-fandom fic exchange. The lj comm profile has lots of info & links. There is also yuletide_admin for info.

The LJ comm I linked there is one of the major lines of communication, but it isn't run on LJ. For several years it had it's own website (which still exists as an archive, here) but it grew too large for the servers, and last year it was partly run there but posted to AO3. Yuletide main collection.
