Merlin - Methos question

Is it my imagination, or does Colin Morgan of Merlin fame look like a young (very young) Peter Wingfield? He doesn't have the Nose, but he certainly seems to have both the ears and the jawline, with the potential for the cheekbones.

Or am I seeing things?

Yes. Other people have marked the resemblence, and their comments first made me sample the show.

Someone on my flist (maryavatar, I think), said that if she had her druthers, the shapeshifter dragon would turn out to be Merlin's father, played by PW.

Oh my, yes he does. I suspect that it's one reason I like the character of Merlin so much :-)
