*rubs stomach* Those recipes are making me thirsty, they sound incredibly tasty.

Hee. Sweet fic. I like the debating at the beginning and their solution! ^___^ Good solution. \o/

I've made several of them, and they are all good. I'm glad you liked the story, too.

Sorry I ended up not making it out to archery practice (hangs head). I stayed up waaaaay too late.

I'd make mel read this just cause of the midas touch but I'm not sure he reads slash fic.

Yeah, not so much his style :-).

I'm glad you like it, though!

Oh Lord, you're sucking me into Highlander fandom and I've resisted for so long. Not only that, you're encouraging my bad habit of making archaic alcoholic beverages. I made mead one year and I'm going to have to try making athel brose now. But not with my Glenmorangie. Though I have to say, a half-gallon of scotch would make anything alcoholic.

Hee! No, the *good* scotch is for sipping :-)

I am glad you liked this, and I certainly won't complain if you decide to play a little in the Highlander sandbox -- the more the merrier!

I love mead. I have a batch of woodruff mead currently doing it's thing in the corner of my kitchen right now.

Hmmm, mine was rather unsatisfactory. Maybe I should get yours. You seem to have good booze recipes. :^) My kinda woman!

this is one of those stories where feeling is everything.
You have it here: friendship, contentment, love, happiness... All is in here. A mood, if you prefer, but I can feel it as I read. I can feel the easy friendship, the camaraderie, between all of them. And passion, burning slowly between Methos and Duncan. They have no rush, they can wait, let it boil to the exact moment it is ready :)
Such a wonderful, wonderful story...

Thank you so much! I am very glad you enjoyed the piece, and that the pacing and atmosphere worked for you. I had a whole lot of fun writing it.
