I think there's a typo in the first flashback sequence (for much of the rest, I was too distracted to notice):

Shouldn't that be slut?

And no, actually, that 'slot' is intentional. I wanted a word that was obviously derogatory, but went more to the 'hole' place with some of the emotional weight of 'slut'.
