Overall this piece is very effective in presenting a unified color scheme and style. You definitely captured the mood of an artificial nocturne with the color palette, pose, and composition; the image reads as very film noir especially in terms of the positioning of the figures. The clean crisp line weight and flat colors work especially well for you in the figures' faces and heads, and I think that part of the piece is by far the strongest and really draws the eye. The background is lovely as well, subtle enough not to take away from the figures but also detailed enough to be interesting and evocative of mood

This is the best. Thank you. I feel like I do somewhat better with painterly rendering of fabric, which I didn't have time for this round, and I wanted to try a different style anyway. I really do need to study more, and do some life-drawing workshops. I haven't had any classes on illustration/painting in years.
