We made mango ice cream in AP Chemistry lab in high school. We did it with Zip loc bags, rock salt, and ice. Hilarious result. It was tasty but not really solid.

In my Physical Chem class in college, we just made ice cream with Liquid Nitrogen. I made chocolate raspberry ice cream! (milk, heavy cream, a little vanilla extract, half a bottle of Hershey Chocolate Syrup, 1/4 cup Dutch cocoa, and raspberry extract and half a liter of liquid nitrogen)

Not only is it delicious, it's so much fun to make! On the awesome chance we'll ever meet up, I'll bring over the liquid nitrogen and we can party!

I WILL be making this at some point this summer, because it sounds delicious!

Love you bb!

PS-Just marched with the Trevor Project at NYC Pride. One of my summer (life!) goals has been accomplished!

DUUUDE, LIQUID NITROGEN? You'd be like that cool, superbadassawesome older sister I never had. ♥♥
My friend did the same exact thing as your first experiment; she told me about it last night right before we watched Red Riding Hood (if you haven't seen it, I wouldn't recommend it.) and it made me want to watch Bill Nye. xD

Congrats on the march, babe! That's a brilliant accomplishment, by anyone's standards. :D How was it? OOOOH, did you take pictures?

Love you as well, dollface. :D

Like a moron, I didn't take pictures because I forgot my camera at home :( Others were taking pics, so I'll share once I find them :)

Love you sweetness.

In high school physical science class (by far, the most easy science class (one day all we did was make paper air planes and fly them - that was the lesson that day)) we made some ice cream. It was a bit lame. But still. ♥
My aunt is allergic to MSG and so whenever one of her son's had a birthday party there was always homemade ice cream. ♥
Twice a year there is an ice cream social at my hometown with homemade ice cream. ♥
I really rather like homemade ice cream. ♥

Also. I'm terribly sorry about that monster under your bed who eats papers. Maybe he has Pica. You could get that seen too, get him cured. Then he won't eat your papers.

Damn, your physical science class? It reminds me of a lot of my classes, most days. I despise paper airplanes because of my algebra class.

Ice cream social? Twice a year? Dude, envy!

Yeah, homemade ice cream is special. I mean, my first attempt was a little ice crystal-y, but it was good.

LOL. I'd rather get him kicked out of my room, but I s'pose he could have Pica. :P

Yeah. Physical science class. Easiest class ever. I took that freshman year. Then I went to a hard class that was pretty much (meaning all but me and my friend) just people from a year a head - Chemistry. Then we (my friend and I took all of our science classes together) went to another easy one - Earth science. And last year we took a hard one - Physics.

Yeah. Ice cream social. Homemade chocolate, vanilla or maple ice cream with fresh strawberries to put on them if you want, homemade pies and cakes and some sandwiches. Good times.
