Ich stimme zu, Deutsch ist geil!
I wrote an essay about "Taming of the Shrew" last year, because I feel everyone has to get that essay about the treatment of women in that play out of his/her system at some point. I actually riffed a lot about domestic abuse in it, and probably convinced my professor that I come from some horrible abusive background.
I love "Arcadia," we did it here two years ago and I learned something new every night I saw it. I would have killed to see Dara in it, you're so lucky.
I'm sorry you're sick! I started to be sick very briefly yesterday but I forced it to go away. Have a kickass end of the semester! (We've still got a week and a half to go here, I'm very jealous!)

Dara did well. It's funny, I've seen him in so many plays and in so much real life that it's hard for me to get him back to ground zero in shows. There's Dara and then there's the character kind of fighting over my brain time.

I've got another week and a half too, some of my teachers just felt like speeding up the process. Good luck on finals!

Unfortunately, most of the amazon queens that actually got written about were exceptionally lame.

Although I like to pretend that Hippolyta plans on killing Theseus after the wedding and bouncing happily back to Amazonians with his head.

But I've always like the sneaky ones.

If I ever direct that show, I will make sure she plays the character like she means to do that. And give her a freaking Claymore or something. And ripped. I would take the actress to the gym every day to go body building. What are you doing over winter break? So far my plans involve sleeping and eating.

yah, that's pretty much my plans too. I'm leaving Christmas day eve, and I won't be back til after new year's, but then I'm free again.
