Before I leave for China and go on hiatus, I thought I would post some recommendations for people who are new to C-Pop. These artists are not who I think are best or are not in any particular order, but are good starting points to get into it as they are more recognizable in today's market. LOL, I love your bias xD Cheer Chen for being awesome, Deserts for being amazing. And *snort* Joey Yung for being hot.

This is a good start up list. I think I've come far for Cpop... not knowing anything in 2008 to knowing all these names xD

Thank you! I love my biases too, although quite a few of my favourites didn't make it onto here (FanFan, Angela Chang, Tanya and Penny). lol

wow thanks so much (time). I basically go off of word of mouth then I look at related videos on the side on YT and that's how I find more.
I do need more females in my rotation.

Haha thanks (it took me forever to do because I closed it on accident and it didn't save automatically >_>). Yeah that's the best way to get into it and that's how I found out about so many artists lol.

Love your post ! Even I listen to C-Pop, there are some artist you mentioned I didn't listened yet but I need to give it a try because you gave a good explanation to their style ~ Will you do a similiar post with men singer ?

I think this is a great idea! I've always wanted to do one of these posts myself after seeing so many "can you recommend me" posts over a cpop - I started one last year but got way too lazy to finish it.
I think these choices are great and will be linking people here in the future.

Thanks for your recommendation post, I'm quite picky with female cpop singers because some of sell for their image over their music. This is definitely going to come in handy when I start picking out what albums I'll be shopping for.

I have to agree with the Stefanie Sun for being known for weird pop tunes, although I follow her music :/
