For posterity *g* I'm adding my art entries for sga_art_santa

My main art was Kate in the Style of Alphonse Mucha for bellalarina

Name: Kate in the style of Alphonse Mucha.
For: Bella Larina (lj: http://bellalarina.livejournal.com/ )
Rating: G
Character: Kate Heightmeyer
Summary : Portrait of Dr Kate Heightmeyer in the style of Alphonse Mucha, incorporating a Pegasus stargate and Atlantis, as well as flowers chosen for their symbolism in the modern Language of Flowers. The flowers are a white crysanthemum for truth, ivy for friendship and fidelity, borage for courage and bluntness, white zinnias for goodness, scarlet zinnias for constancy and yellow zinnias for remembrance. Designed and painted by Kate's friends on Atlantis to reflect her interests, the portrait is hung in one of the smaller casual meeting rooms.

I had the idea of a Mucha style SGA picture using the stargate as frame, some time ago. Atlantis is more Art Deco in style than art nouveau, but the idea stuck *g*. It wasn't until the prompt that I realised it was perfect for Kate Heightmeyer (a recurring character on Stargate: Atlantis, who is the Base Psychologist) since her looks are just the sort Mucha would use, and the Language of Flowers suits her profession.
