SGA - Teyla "Leader of her People"
I've been on vacation for the last couple of weeks and spent quite a lot of time doing CG Art. Most of it for Holiday art exchanges and other events - but finally here is something I can post now!

Teyla from Stargate Atlantis as Queen Elizabeth the First.
The theme is a movie made on Atlantis.
My version is that after discovering an Ancient device which makes temporary costumes, (and since things are very quiet), they decide to make a University Review (a traditional USO variety show?) style movie with lots of short funny skits. It should be good for morale.
Teyla privately suspects that the roles that she and Elizabeth have been assigned have been switched - but Elizabeth is having fun as a leather-clad Warrior Princess. Teyla, herself, finds this outfit elegant and stately, and she is practicing her best regal stare.
Yes, merely an excuse to draw Teyla in Elizabethan clothing! My subconscious was pretty blatant about this one - there have been several great Queen Teyla pictures lately based on cesperanza's Written by the Victors. This has nothing at all to do with this brilliant fic *g* Just a crack-ish painting because I wanted to.
