Chapter Twenty-Three

"I'm not okay with this," Casey said. "I need you to drop me at your place. My keys are there so I can't just go home."

"Casey we don't have time. You know what can happen in situations like these, and my apartment is across town. We're almost there, just wait in the car when we get there."

"No, Olivia," Casey said, her voice ( Read more... )

hahaha, as I was reading this, Mel (who I work with) asked me something and said "well, you look like you've just read something delicious"

Apparently I couldn't conceal my grin.

AWESOME. Seriously awesome. Casey's reaction was JUST what I was hoping for. Very realistic. Liv needs to work her ass off to fix this one :)

Looks like I underestimated your ego and overestimated what I meant to you. You can save your collar and leash for your little blonde bitch, because I'm done."

I especially loved those lines. Liv's ego is massively overinflated, and it's nice to see Casey actually telling her that. She needed bringing down a peg or two. Oh, and the comment about the little blonde bitch. Nice :)

Meow. Getting caught reading my fics at work? Not a good idea LOL. And thank you, I'm glad the reaction seemed realistic. And as for the blonde bitch comment, lolol, Casey has nothing personal against Allegra, she's just making a point to Liv.

oh no, i'm sure she has nothing against Allegra - especially since she was nice enough to comfort Casey while Liv was making her point in the club. I didn't get that impression at all. I figured it was just a back-handed swipe at Liv :)

I'm pretty ok reading the fics here - only one person can see my screen, but she's far enough away not to be able to read it. Although I will need to be more Alex-like with guarding my reactions in future ;)

Oh-so-wonderful. Except way-too-short. Hehehe.

Oh, Casey. You write her so well.

"I have nothing to say to you in this cab, Detective."

Sometimes it's hard to imagine the voice and the expression of the character that goes with it (simply because our fantasies for them are just sometimes pretty difficult to believe) but this line... GUH. I can just see a fuming Case trying not to bite her hand off.

Delicious indeed. :D

LOL, fanged Casey. And I know what you mean... I try to picture the actors saying and doing things as I'm writing. Not so much as I'm reading, I think because I get caught up in the scenes and the plot. But definitely when I'm writing. If it doesn't look right in my head, then I come up with something else. Unless of course it just *has* to be said, lol. Thanks for the feedback.
