After all these years, I just think Sam and Jack have such a good rythm together, if only they'd let themselves go they'd have such a happy family ^^;

But, as a mean author, I don't want to let them get *too* happy just yet.

I'm really enjoying this. My fandoms are getting so old that there isn't much new fic any more so I'm very glad that you're writing it!

*laughs* I know that feeling. A long long time ago, I used to write Buffy fanfic, but now that the show is over, the fandom is slowly dyeing out ^^;

Embarrassingly, I'm only *just* getting in to Stargate. I only started watching it this January (needless to say, I watched it all very quickly >.< *blush*). So to me, this fandom's still new and very exciting!

What I find amazing is that, even more than the more recent ships like Daniel/Vala, the Jack/Sam contingent of the Stargate fandom is one of the strongest - even now!

Well I'm very glad that you're new and so want to write - my strength most definitely lies in reading!

The Jack/Sam ship is a bit of a phenomenon - perhaps because it's never actually become official canon, when they are so obviously perfect for each other. I think this one could run for years!

*laughs* I'm kind of hoping for a deliciously shippy conformation scene in an upcoming SG1 movie *crosses fingers*. (Oh, the icons we could make with that! ^^; )

Though, if you're right, maybe it would be better for us writers/readers if we never got any conformation -- we could keep writing our own versions forever!

(... no. *sigh* I still want canon-conformation. =P)
