Sometimes...

Sometimes the help files for computers are maddening. I found one which started

"Problem: You cannot print" and then went on to say, "You may find it easier to follow the steps if you print this article first."

Are they for real?

Snicker. That's on a par with a time I phoned BT from a friend's house because my phone wasn't working. While I waited to speak to someone there was a series of... well, ads, I suppose, one of which suggested I search the internet for a solution to my problem. Since I was in line to speak to someone about not having a phone connection...
