Actually, it was Sunday afternoon. And it was a vegan donut (mmm, Pepples Donuts) and an Americano. Pirate and I had had lunch at Farley's East and then headed to Lakeside Park to one of our favorite trees, which we proceeded to climb.

three things:

1. tree-climbing might be one of the best things in the world. i need to do more of that.

2. this post is so adorable it had me going "awww" out loud. squirrels eating out of your hand! omg <3__<3

3. those vegan doughnuts look amaaaazing. i am momentarily sad that i live on the opposite coast, but if i'm ever in california, i guess i'll have to check 'em out.
