I rewatched the final two episodes of Kings yesterday and got mad and frustrated all over again about NBC cancelling the show

Still utterly heartbroken that NBC canned Kings, but then they seem to not like anything that requires an iota of brainpower to enjoy.

And that is why SouthLAnd has a shiny new home on TNT, hee!

It is sad. I hope the dvds will be available in Europe at some point. I'm curious about those deleted scenes from the finale episode.

I still haven't seen any Southland, but I was so happy when another network picked it up. I'm definitely going to marathon it at some point. Now that Life is no more (damn you nbc!) I need another cop show to watch, and Southland sounds awesome.

I still haven't been able to watch the last two episodes of Kings because then it will be over and that will break my heart to an extent I'm just not prepared for quite yet, so I'm trying really hard to ignore everything you've said in this post. But. Uh. Remind me to check back here when I lady up and watch them?

I'm still so very sad, angry and disappointed about what happened to Kings. :(

Thanks for the fic rec! I probably wouldn't have found the story by myself, and I really loved it.

Such waste! It would be great if there was hope for at least a mini-series or a tv-movie but I doubt that's ever going to happen. :(

My pleasure! There isn't that much Kings fic to go around (fandom!fail) but that one was just perfect.
