Pondering the RPS Issue

I suppose if you're a slash writer then the idea of RPS enters your mind now and again, especially if you write in a pairing that has more than its fair share of, shall we say, plenty of "play" between the RL actors.  Such is the case with Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum.  I've read some great RPS with them on LJ, and the thought of it has ( Read more... )

RPS is like any other kind of fic really. You can write whatever you're comfortable with. There are no 'rules' per se

I've read fics where the issue of Tom's wife is completely ignored, I've read fics where she just gets a passing mention and I've read fics where she is a major character and Tom is battling with his feelings for her and his feelings for Mike.

So you go for it! Personally I don't think there is enough Smallville RPS out there so I'd love to read what you come up with

I've read a fair number of RPS and from what I gather it seems anything goes. I think as long as there are appropriate warnings so people can avoid stuff they think are squicky, I say go for it. :-)
