The Posting Schedule for the main challenge if finally here.

Some points to keep in mind:
- We've tried to accommodate everyone's request/needs based on the information provided
- Due to above it made sense to start posting somewhat later than planned
- Those people who told us they have several fanworks to post have 2-3 posting dates, it is up to you ( Read more... )

Excellent!

One more question, though. Do we post our stuff here to the community, or do we post it to our LJs and post a link here?

You can post it to your own LJ and then put a link here. If when you post it you could put what prompt it is for, if it is for a specific prompt, that would be great.

Opposite question, really. Is it okay if I post straight to this community or a link to AO3? My journal sems to have evolved into a disabled mum caring for autistic child mostly open blog and I don't want to put an age filter on it.

Yes and yes. If you don't want to post the fic itself on your own journal you can post it in here (provided the required headings and cut-tag is used - I'll be putting a format up shortly) or post on AO3 and link to it here.

Have I missed the boat again?

Where are the prompts for this schedule please?

This posting schedule is for people who signed up for the Main Challenge back in June. So yes, unfortunately you have 'missed the boat' with regard to this, the sign-ups for the Challenge had already closed by the time you joined the community.

However, we have some plans for a Christmas exchange and we will solicit people's opinions about that once the posting for this Main Challenge finishes, i.e. in October. So just keep an eye on that if you want to participate in the future.

Excellent, a Christmas exchange - I was already planning to complete a winter fic, BK's by far favourite bedtime story, to be written and posted at Christmas - so I'm thrilled I could possibly share here. It is the Christams special to her AU season and ends with a civil partnership, although I know now I've been beaten to it as the first to post such a story, a good it was too :)

I've added you to the schedule for the 17-19th as requested.

Yes, we're planning on running it similarly to sga_santa though we will of course solicit members' opinions on this closer to the time. As it is an exchange though, people would be assigned a 'secret santa recipient' and the hope is that the fic/fanwork would be done to fit the wishes of the recipient as far as possible. Anyway, more detail on the practicalities in October once this challenge has finished.

Hi, sorry about the late question - I've got a few things ready for posting, but some others which I am hoping to get done over the next week - should I post those as they're ready or wait until the end of posting?

Sorry for the faff, I didn't get as much writing done on my holiday as I'd hoped!

Hi. You should stick to your posting days in the first instance. So for the next three days, post as much as you like. If, after that, you still have stuff you want to post that is for the challenge then you'll go to the end of queue, i.e. in this case the 5th of October. Hope that makes sense.
