One of my favorite lines ever, I love this. It's achy in the good way and you have both of them down, Pete being dependent on Patrick and Patrick dealing with that, Pete knowing that it's too much to ask. The way he doesn't hate Ash, they just didn't work out and how he doesn't just jump into anything with Patrick, sdjkldfs everything about this is great please please write more.
