I am wary about the new Star Wars movie, and is that an Arya Stark line right at the beginning? "Who are you?" "I am no one". But I'll give it a wary try on the big screen.

Also, I have never been a fan of Back to the Future, but there is something for which I am thankful to that saga, and that is RICK & MORTYI got into Adult Swim via Robot ( Read more... )

I'm also wary of the new Star Wars. I mean, we thought Episode 1 was going to be awesome. It was...what it was. I have a feeling I'll feel the same way about the new Star Wars as I feel about the new Star Trek films: nice, but not the same.

Episode 1 was somehow decent (with the Jar-Jar exception), and kept the old spirit somehow. Plus, Duel of the Fates! But Episode 2 and 3 were completely forgetabble. I suspect this movie will be decent, but I have no hopes of being excited. I wish I could be like those fans around the world, crying tears of sheer joy at the trailer. I... cringed at Han and Leia.

My advantage regarding the new Star Trek is that I hadn't seen any of the old. After them, I went back for the old stuff, and now I can enjoy both. Although, TOS remains my favorite.
