Being without my laptop has shifted my focus to little RL crafty things. And I got to thinking about how we're going to present this. I want to send her some fucking awesome gift basket. With her favorite things in it. The main focus would of course be a DVD of our final video, but I think it'd be cute to send her a bunch of thoughtful stuff that

I have absolutely no idea where to even start. Her publicist? Agent? Would that work? I've got that info but I'm not sure as to what they're allowed to give out or anything like that.

I would be straight forward with them and see what happens. Tell them that you have something that you want to send to Lisa and where to send it. Then see what happens.

Maybe you should write a letter to her -before sending the gift basket- and tell her, that we want to send her some great gift, and i think she would answer it, maybe tell you an andress where you can send it, and surely she would get it... I dont know its just an idea!

That's a good idea - that'd definitely be smart. the key would be writing a SHORT letter, lol. you're supposed to keep celeb letters under one page, it increases the chance of a response. BUT I KNOW ONCE I START I WONT BE ABLE TO SHUT UP.

I want to make it really prettyyy. I'm seeing lots of gold mesh and ribbons. DAMN IT I WISH I KNEW A SOLID HOME ADDRESS FOR HER BECAUSE I WANT TO SEND HER FLOWERS WITH IT AS WELL. SHE LIKES FLOWERS BECAUSE THEY MAKE HER HOUSE FEEL LIKE A HOME. maybe i could OMG. And the convention idea, is another f…ing great idea… You could meet her - it is in itself awesome - yeah you wont see her reaction -not the whole, of course she would happy about it, be grateful, but she cant open it right there :( cause of the limited time, but she can also make the pictures with the camera…:D:D:D I’d like to see her face when she opens the basket, and see every little present!!!!

That's a really cool idea. And I know this isn't necessarily the whole idea here, but I think the only way to be absolutely sure she gets that basket is to personally hand it to her. It's starting to look the the convention is actually gonna happen since they have sponsers like Save The Children and stuff. And maybe Lisa will go. And of course, then you would be sure that she got it. Because you could find a way to give it to her yourself. And that's also a long shot and maybe kind of akward in person. I dunno . . . but if you did that, everyone on here can still contribute and everything even if they aren't able to make it to the con. Totally just a suggestion . . . I'm not even sure that I like it myself. Just trying to brainstorm.

hmm the only help I'll need is getting ideas for things to put in it, or if you guys wanted to help out and mail me stuff for it.

and that is a very good plan. ive got a bunch of homework and tests and shit, but on Saturday, it'll end for awhile so i'll try to write letters to her agent/managers this weekend.
