Hey, when you get this, could you give me a call on my cell -- 216-798-7052? With motordyke sick this weekend, forestfire and I want to see about the possibility of emergency backup crash space if necessary (we don't think it'll be, but we want to have a plan just in case).
hey, you haven't written anything since march. write, damn you!! :)
i am re-reading the mists of avalon just now, too. it is strangely addictive.
but, more importantly, i just read american gods. immediately after finishing, i got online and ordered more neil gaiman books. what is wrong with me that it took me this long to make this discovery?
yeah, he's one of the greatest, man. i love me some neil. tori amos is the one who clued me in first. ("me and Neil will be...hanging out with the dream king") the dream king being the Sandman, one of Neil's best works. did you check out the neil's diary? It's on my livejournal site. as for not writing, i'm working so hard, and it's a lot of computer time, so i've been relishing my summer non-computer time, y'know? when work gets under control i'll write more, promise.
jonathan has a gig with our friend Asaf this Thursday and they're practicing. They're playing as "Bone-In Rabbi". which is screamingly funny to me. instead of bone-in ribeye? Asaf is Israeli, by the way.
Yeah, I am with you on the too much work-related computer time. Today I voiced a complaint about the fact that I had been delegated yet another responsibility, that would be more time-efficient to outsource, as I had been doing - I'm all about time being money - and I was told that I could "come in earlier". I've already been coming in an hour earlier as it is. I have deduced that nearly all of my hours that are not dedicated to sleeping or traveling are spent staring down a computer screen, or, rather, two (I've got the dual flat-screens going on when I'm in the office.)
Anyway, I'm going to be in Chicago next weekend...(7/28-31) Are you free for revelry?
