But I thought that I would interrupt this dreary business of apostasy in Islam, where they cut off your head if you change your mind, with a response I made today to someone asking about events during President Reagan’s terms in office. Very cool! I too like Newt and North.
When I was a kid, I saw Joe Frazier at the airport... he was a lot shorter than I had thought he would be. :/

Colonel North's attention was elsewhere, or he would have reinforced his instruction to take the whole trunk to the laundry and then open it.

"Those fatigues were ready to march on their own," he said.

They were as stiff as his resolve. He and we had upscale cabins (we were splurging on this trip, as you recall), but the cabin next to his had a grand piano with a piano player on call 24 hours a day.

It is called The Death of Klinghoffer. Here's an article complaining about all of the uproar and objections to this piece glorifying and excusing the jihadists:

The whole first act is given to the terrorists expounding on their righteous actions, in song and in soliloquy. And their right to be violent, of course, as the "oppressed people."

The soon to be killed and dumped overboard Klinghoffer and his wife are the only Jews in the play, I understand. But he is given one bit of song and calls it correctly:You don’t give a shit
Excuse me, about
Your grandfather’s hut
His sheep and his goat
And the land he wore out
You don’t give a shit
You just want to see
People die
And the writer of the article above complained that when Leon Klinghoffer's widow complained to the ship's captain (who had been welcoming to the terrorists), she "sounded very much like the protesters outside (the theater ( ... )
