The communists at SocialistWorker.org are heartbroken, as right-to-work laws are allowing workers to make a choice about whether or not to join the union.

And most horribly of all (in their minds it is “a nightmare”), people are investing and opening businesses and creating jobs as a result:

They also don't mention that the reason nonunion employees don't want to unionize is that the fees of belonging to a union are obvious and the benefits much less so.

There is certain legislation - the "card check" bit most famous among these - that is very popular with union members, and fought fiercely by union leadership.

But private sector union membership is actually up slightly, I understand, indicating that union bosses still have a lot of pull in the current government environment. In many states, being part of a union is no longer a choice, so membership increases when unions stage a successful takeover.

The National Labor Relations Board still has the unconstitutional appointees on it, as the administration awaits the appeal of that "you can't just declare a recess" ruling.
