I had a bad case of mental indigestion just recently, when I heard Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell express surprise and disbelief about the principle of separation of church and state being set forth in the First Amendment to the Constitution. Fortunately, I was able to refrain from mental regurgitation...

She was right, of course. The expression "separation of church and state" was from a private letter sent during the next century (about 17 years after the Constitution was ratified, as I recall ( ... )

I'm trying to imagine (facetiously) how certain foods would affect the brain in such a body system. Gets more fun if you think of human food.
