If you haven't read the first Fables, I recommend it. And in other better late than never news, I just finished the first Walking Dead trade and damn, was it exquisite. Yikes, two movie references in one LJ post. With that and Irredeemable Ant-Man(total sleeper), I am loving Kirkman right now.

seriously, walking dead is amazing. and kirkman can do no wrong in my book. i would probably read anything written by him if you put it in front of me. much like the works of Ed Brubaker and Brian K. Vaughan. speaking of Vaughan, how sad is it that Y is almost done?
This got way geekier than I thought it would.moko_onoMay 2 2007, 02:04:26 UTC
Very sad. I think he felt it too, because for a few months there the story was meandering. It finally feels like he is back on track. I don't know if you read the Doc. Strange story by him, but it was pretty good. He is becoming quite the Midas. I am really excited for his next project, whatever it is. Also, his episode of Lost was awesome. Charlie is ridiculous. No one can beat the Flash in a race, especially not Superman. I mean another speedster maybe, if Bart was tired from travelling through time or something. But Superman, come on!
