I also love that Jim has no moment of "what pronoun do I use" despite his butchery of the English (Standard?) language and that it doesn't come up as an issue at all for anyone else either, underscoring the concept of gender =/= definition of identity.

I must say, I had a moment where I said, "Hm. Pronoun. Which . . ." And Jim in my head said, "Spock omg he's so fucking hot." And I said, "Yes, yes, Jim, you are right; absolutely; he's a he because that's how he identifies whether he has a vagina or not." (And the Jim in my head said, "I don't even know what you're talking about but he has a vagina; let me fuck him.")
