Another fic type thing, with spoilers

Jul 29, 2007 01:29

I did another Harry Potter fic. I don't even know what it is. I just have all these thoughts, and they come out, and they rhyme! Jossverse, I still love you, even if HP is so shiny and new right now.

Meta-y, gen, short, with SPOILERS. It's about the color of Harry's eyes, the killing curse, Neville Longbottom's thumb...

Ow, damn it. I love all of this meta on the connections and disconnects between these characters and especially how Snape's plea is everyone's plea.

Look at me.

Thanks! I'm glad the repetition of that phrase worked for you--I was uncertain about how gratuitous it would feel.

Oof, so good. I really like the last one, with everything ping-ponging back and forth.

Thanks! I actually rewrote the last one about a bajillion times, so I'm glad you liked the end result.

Ginny's is my favorite too, and I kept wondering whether I should just cut the rest and leave the Ginny one. So I'm glad you liked the Voldie one...I'm not sure I said quite what I wanted to about the child under the seat in Harry's mind. I thought it was one of the most powerful and disturbing parts of the book.

Thanks so much!

I found this absolutely amazing, and the constant refrain of 'look at me' was completely haunting and memorable. Well done, I'm bookmarking this one.

Thank you! And I'm glad you liked the repetition of that phrase--I wasn't sure it would work.
