Heh, that wasn't even fic, but it kind of felt like one anyway, awesomely.

I thought I missed something too, with that last episode, but they've done that "previouslies of things that never happened" thing before, so I guess it's just...a thing they do. I don't know. But I wish they wouldn't, because it's jarring and confusing. Also, they've mentioned the Sagittarians before but not in a while, and I totally can't even remember the context because this show feels like it's been going on forever (I mean, not in a bad way, I just usually watch shows on DVD after they've finished, so this is messing with my head a little) and I really need to rewatch it all sometime.

Hee! That's cool, thanks! I thought about writing a Gaeta fic, because I really want to see more of him and I don't think the show really has the time to spare for expanding on these kind of issues, but I think this was really all I had to say about him.

I don't remember them ever doing that on the previouslies before, musta missed it. I do remember some episodes where they dump in some new elements that're kinda disorienting, but I kinda liked it in the past as it hinted at the idea that time is passing, that everything we don't see onscreen isn't just at a standstill just because we're not seeing it. But this took that element to an extreme; I really feel like I missed something.

I remember I mention of Sagittarians before too, but these seemed like specific Sagittarians they'd rescued from somewhere; they kept calling them "refugees"...

I had to stop reading your post, because I haven't started S3 yet (you know how I am about serial television and how I can't watch it week-to-week anymore). But it saddens me, that people say it's gone downhill.

God. S1 was the most brilliant thing ever. I can't even believe it was as good as I remember it being, and I don't think I'm making that up. But now, as I look forward to getting S3 eventually, I am sad.

But I'm glad someone's talking about Gaeta, who is OMG GORGEOUS.

Ugh. I just wrote a really long reply and lost it (five times). Short version: I didn't know people were saying that re: S3 as a lot of people I know loved it. You may've missed later on in this post I said I felt it wasn't as good as it used to be but that this past ep felt like I had the show I fell in love with back. Last, I talked about how you should look forward to S3 if you're into Gaeta, because they do great stuff with him and his hair is really fucking hot. I stress about him and the characters I'm really into on this show because the cast is so huge, they don't really have time to do as much on them as I would like, while still keeping up the arcs of characters I *don't* prefer.

Thanks for the recap! I'm totally going to watch it, of course, because it's still one of the best shows I've ever seen. The cast of characters is just amazing, and they went some places I really didn't think they would.

I'm pretty sure they ran them out of order from what they produced, because I too didn't remember them putting Helo in charge of the Sagittarons. I remember them putting up refugees from the ep in which Kat met her end, but nothing about that.

Ha, then I'm not crazy. But I forgot the refugees...I've even forgotten now how Kat died. I'll go refresh--I don't have the mind required for waiting weeks/fortnights/months between eps.
