I thought about making it radio buttons and decided that was too cruel.
Okay, did you ever watch Anamanaics? Probably not. But anyway, these crazy cartoons, whose job it was to annoy everyone, one ep went to everybody in this mall saying, "Would you like to take a survey?" (in this really chanty sing song voice). And the questions were ALL variations of: do you like beans? Do you like George Wendt? Would you like to see George Wendt eating beans? It lasted forever and for some reason, I've never forgotten it. That show was the shit.
I wasn't sure how to word the one about you. I know you'll always love it, and it's not even right to say you're no longer interested in it...should've put Sue no longer lives and breathes it? I don't know.
I've seen some hatred for the Kittens (Willow/Tara shippers) too. But not even close to the B/A, B/S crowd, mainly because there's so many more B/A and B/S shippers.
Fans can be crazy. Some fans do scare me, and it's not about who they ship but just about people being stupid. But in the end, I love them all, because they make fandom the rich and exciting place it is.
Well, this is why I love "Chosen": Buffy has her friends, her family, and most of all she is no longer along any more. But that lost shot is of just her, with an empty road ahead of her, and she's smiling. She'll always have that support network, but I think she'll always make her own way alone. That's what I love about her.
But that doesn't change me from *wanting* her to get a chance to just lay it all down, to make a life for herself, which is why I'm a big smooshy B/Aer at heart. But when I'm realistic about it, I tend to think that Buffy and Angel will always be a part of each other's lives (as will Spike), and that they'll have more happy moments together and more sad moments together, but that in the end, both of them will be smiling at the empty road alone.
According to Fray, the JW future Buvvyverse canon comic, there's no happy future for Buffy. She disappears in a huge fight near Rome, throwing herself on a portal.
OTOH, there's no mention of a Slayer Army, so, who knows just how canon canon is. And this being JW, canon is not very canon at all methinks.
I was going to check off every single item on the "What's wrong with S/A" list, but then I thought, "Wait. Those are all the reasons I *love* them." Well, except for Angel being a great big brawny man and Spike being a blood-crying girl.
There was one in Vicarious, but Spike thought Angel was saying it to Buffy, and afterwards Angel could always claim he was just saying it to Buffy, and that's the only reason I believed it. I just wouldn't believe it otherwise. I wouldn't.
But OMGIwanttoreaditdon'ttemptme.
She did! It was another time I was whining about how A/S don't make googly eyes at each other enough and call each other pet names other than poof and idiot. I told you, it's been bothering me lately.

Also, why only "the fans" category for B/A and B/S? Can't other shippers be nuts too? :D

And that sounds cheesy but it's true.

They totally are Scarlett and Rhett. Who I also ship.
I want there to be a MOMENT, just one, just one where they let each other love each other and there just won't be, there just won't
Oh, there may be just one. Coming soon. *whistles*
