YES! He looks EXACTLY like him!
S1 styles?
A cross between whining and ... impinging on others' time and privacy. Er, I don't know.
A corruption of presents? Is that the sense you mean?
He... acts?
I like him mildly hairy.
They fucked with her a lot more in season 4.
I like Andy Hallett - I had my picture taken with him.
I read an interview with her where she pointed out that she was slender and attractive, which was somewhat obnoxious, though true.
Bueller?
I mostly rewatch when evangelising about the show to siblings, boyfriends, housemates, etc. And bore them with trivia as the episodes proceed.
I don't know what katsu don is.
You're not willing to lower your standards far enough?
I Was Made To Love You. Found it cringeworthy til I got why it was there.
The Girl In Question. Less funny on every reviewing, and Spike's flashback Westcountry accent for the line "That right bastard" becomes more and more troublesome.
Xander.
I don't know who Kara Thrace is.
Just to infuriate you.

YES! He looks EXACTLY like him! I know!
S1 styles? I never did get the styles stuff. I have to sit down and actually look at it now.
A corruption of presents? Is that the sense you mean? Yes, and I hate it.
I like him mildly hairy. I wish he would hairy up his chest.
They fucked with her a lot more in season 4. See, this I don't mind as much, because there's a reason.
I read an interview with her where she pointed out that she was slender and attractive, which was somewhat obnoxious, though true. She's gorgeous. But yeah, that's weird she felt the need to point it out. I just don't like her much as Lilah.
You're not willing to lower your standards far enough? I hope that's it. Because then I can lower my standards and get a job!
I Was Made To Love You. Found it cringeworthy til I got why it was there. Me too!
Why We Fight/Blind Date/She/that Buffy-Riley sex one.
I do hate that Buffy-Riley sex one, though not as much as Provider, but the other two I like a lot.
Because it precipitates the ruining of both Gunn and Wesley Oh ( ... )

Do you rewatch eps of BtVS/AtS? How do you do it? Do you just pick out one you liked? Pick out a couple you liked? Watch an arc you liked? Fastforward to the good parts? Rewatch a whole season? Rewatch certain parts for fanfic writing purposes?

I do all of that! Sometimes an urge to watch a certain episode or arc (Like say latter season 2, Angelus/Dru/Spike/Sad!Buffy fun) will take over me and I can't put it to rest until I watch it. Or if you're like me and neglectful and have lost some of your CDs and the eps you happen to want to watch are on said CDs, I can't put it to rest unless I find another ep/arc I want to watch besides those. Sometimes if I'm gonna have a lazy week, I'll rewatch a season.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Angel making goofy faces at baby!Connor was out of character and stupid?

Not at all!

So far, I've only ever rewatched the entire series. Well, that's not true. I've rewatched "Origin" and "The Wish" just for fun. And on this last rewatch, I just couldn't stomach watching the rest of S7.

But usually when I just rewatch one part, I want to see *everything* again. It's a compulsion. Or me being anal!

I don't think "ARCHIE KENNEDY" when I see Lee Adama, but I didn't watch HH. Horatio Hornblower ROCKS MY SOCKS! And the character Jamie Bamber plays is so . . . so fanboy.

I kinda liked Justine as a character. I understood her anyway. The actress had great voice. I actually think the actress sucked. A lot. And the way her whole character was played out was lame. But the ideas behind her character were badass, imo, in the way they related to *everyone* who's lives she touched--especially Wesley.

"Provider" was pretty bad, but so was "She." "She" was lame, but it didn't seem to fuck with character as much as "Provider". Plus, "She" had the Angel and Wesley respective spaz dancing.

What was your least favorite episode of S7 Buffy? I couldn't stand "Killer in Me." It's not just my least favorite ep in S7, it's my least favorite ep in ALL of BtVS (but it doesn't take the cake on "Provider"). It's "Selfless". One day, I need to do a big ole rant about my massive hatred for that ep, because most people seem to really like it.

Yes. You're right. He does.
I don't have a clue.
I have no idea, because to *me* whining is NOT spelled with another *g*.
Presents?
I think he's doing a much better job. He's so much more relaxed than he used to be in front of the camera. Although I also think he's going almost *too* far over to the other side and making the character have too much of the real DB. If that makes any sense at all.
Oh, they TOTALLY did. *weeps*
He's okay. Don't think I'd evey buy a CD though.
She's pretty. I want to see more of her doing other things, because all I think when I do see her is LILAH.
omg! Someone totally should! *ponders*
I'm rewatching from s3, since tabaqui has my s1 and s2 of Ats. I love it. All over again. Can't get enough although it makes every show I watch now seem lame and poorly written. *sigh ( ... )

No, perfect sense, because I agree completely. Sometimes I just wish someone would slap him around and tell him not to be himself, please.

It's funny, because I have trouble with this season--I hate what they do with Cordy's character, and there are some dork!Angel moments that *really* rub me the wrong way. But ( ... )

It's a British thing (Canadian ex-pat, here). The verb is "to whinge" (rhymes with hinge) and as far as I can tell it means about the same as whining in the sense of "bitching about something rather than getting on and doing something about it", but without necessarily having the auditory connotations of a high-pitched, nasal sound (like a dog whining, or a kid.) One can whinge in a basso profundo voice.

Huh! Thanks so much for clearing that up! I was wondering if the pronunciation was different. I didn't know it had a slightly different meaning. So, would a Brit say both whinge and whine, to mean two different things?

I have an endless love for memes, so I'm jumping in head-first here.. :)
Do you think Wesley looks like Ed Exley, as played by Guy Pearce, in L.A. Confidential? Yes, I do, especially when he's in his excessively clean-cut, prim-and-proper incarnation.
What's the thing in lj called, where a post looks like a white page with text, with just a few buttons at the top, and can you always get to that in anyone's journals, or is it only some journals? I have absolutely no idea.
Where did the term whinging come from? British for 'whining', I believe.
How bout the term pressies? Once again with the 'no idea'.
Does DB's acting (in say, Bones) still bother people sometimes? Sometimes. Other times I think he's doing some of the best acting I've yet seen from him, so it's hit or miss...
Does anyone wished DB shaved his face closer these days (on Bones)? I looooove me some scruff.
Does anyone not think they fucked with Cordy's character in AtS S3? Poor Cordy. Her characterization got SO jacked in that season, and she was so very ( ... )

Sometimes. Other times I think he's doing some of the best acting I've yet seen from him, so it's hit or miss... I feel the same way. He's really improved since BtVS S1 (in which he absolutely sucked) and sometimes, dude, I don't just think he's passable or good, but really really freakin' amazing as an actor, with the subtlety and the minute facial expression that just says everything. Other times? I'm just like, man, what was the director thinking, letting him get away with that crap?

I looooove me some scruff. I often do too (scruffy!Wesley makes me need my bunk), but the shadow on DB doesn't ever look like enough to be real scruff. I think he has uneven hair. I don't think he'd look good with a beard.

I tend to start at the beginning every once in a while and work my way through; it feels so rewarding to get the whole story all over again. Except when I'm drunk- then I just throw something in and watch it (usually season three BtVS) Yeah, I rewatch the whole thing too! But I just started it for the first time a little ( ... )
