That was maddening. All these serious conversations; I don't know how they did it. I get uncomfortable when the boyfriend seriously asks me what I want to he can give it to me. I always end up muttering something like "I like what we do" on whatever context it fits, so this must be maddening and incredible. I loved every word.

I loved this part most of all:

“I . . .” Harry tried to think about it. He tried to think about waking next to Draco in the morning-Draco in the sunlight, bathed in gold, ten times less prickly than any other time of day; sleepy and pliant against him, warm; saying all the things he never said when he was fully awake and fit to be acerbic. Harry thought of Draco sailing into the house at the end of work, confident and bright and happy, because he’d won a contract; he thought of Draco moody and bitchy and glaring daggers, because he’d lost another one to Smith. He thought of Draco looking wicked and mischievous in the bedroom; he thought of Draco vulnerable and defensive at any mention of his parents. He

ugh, I am SO DELIRIOUSLY HAPPY you chose to write another drarry. you are honestly one of my favorite fanfic writers and I would read every drarry you wrote, all the time, if I could. So, everyone's already kind of stated how amazing this is and I have nothing left to say because holy crap it IS amazing, all of it. I loved the complexity of it all and the structure, how it centered around their fights and how these fights affected them. Draco's way of proposing was one of my favorite moments because Harry didn't even need it, Harry just knew they were togethe forever. guuuuuh. the line I love love love love is (and I'm on my phone, so sorry if it's a little off):

"Draco's eyes were like wet pavement." holy hnnng that is perfect. everyone else compares his eyes to storm clouds - but WET PAVEMENT, that is my favorite simile I've ever seen. I love this whole thing.

This was so beautiful. The layers, a snippet of the complex layers of human emotion was presented so well here.
Harry and Draco's feelings were two sides of the same coin. I could related to both of them.
Lovely title as well; it summarized the raw essence of this fic in a single line.
