So thrilled to find a new chapter but oh my goodness...not quite what I expected! I loved the way John supported and defended Margaret in the Refreshment Room and was so hoping for a romantic evening back home. The tension in their relationship though is still strong and couldn't quite get them through to "the other side". Just makes me feel sorry for both of them - if only she would face and voice her feelings! Thank you for another episode and I'm so looking forward to how this gets resolved!

Lettered, you are such a wonderful writer but you are torturing us! I don't know if I can handle any more misunderstandings!!!! Poor Margaret! Now I want to hit John! Doesn't he realise that she is young, naive and innocent and does not understand what has just happened and that she is now going to hate and blame herself? I hope she is smart enough to own up to these feelings so John can fix this....with such a slow build up I don't know if I myself can handle any more heat! Pls put them and us out of our collective miseries soon! I know you are busy, so forgive me for my selfish request but please post chapter 9 as soon as you are able. Oh, Margaret. Can someone please have the unVictorian!sex talk with her? Tell her that she actually has the hots for her husband and that it's alright? I was rereading old chapters and I LOVE her incoherent thoughts when she gives him the book and he keeps touching the parcel. Awww. But yeah, sudden bursts of passion are scary.

Also, Thornton, HANDS OFF. Thank you. Soneone should talk to him to. Will they talk this out, too? :( AAAAAAAAAAAAAH I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU ARE GOING TO PUT THIS TO RIGHTSSSS. Poor Mr and Mrs Thornton.
