This is so awesome! So, I love that she's letting go and so happy about it, and as I said, that he knows that she likes him and can be hopeful and baffled.

The pace of the story is perfect--not too fast, so we can have all those misunderstandings, and not too slow either, because, really, they are both adorable and must adore each other asap. Preferably without half the cast dying and lots of chapters in which they don't speak to each other. :D

I really liked this chapter, though my favourite parts so far are the discussions they have and the arguments and the attempts at communication. Aww. I also love Fanny and Mr Watson! :D Really like the spin you gave them.

I'm half agony half hope re: what will happen now??? There will be either more drama (with Frederick! and jealous John! and MISUNDERSTANDINGS YAY! I mean, NOO!) or the end of the story. I really don't want it to end, but it wouldn't be the same if they were happy for thirteen chapters starting now or something like that.

You're writing is fantastic and you've captured the characters so perfectly that every time I read it I get completely lost in the story. Another wonderful chapter- it was so... tender!

The first part, with the tea and John just stares at her was a lot of things: sexy, sweet and it just made me tingle. I loved that backstory about the bracelet and the banter about what Margaret must be thinking of ♥.

I love Margaret talking to the crowd and being all "I am Mrs Thornton!" and John being all ♥_♥ I just loved that whole section and this bit: He was hers as much as she was his. She had not chosen it, and perhaps he had not either, but he was her husband. He belonged to her, and there was nothing anyone else could do about it. And even if in another lifetime, she might have chosen differently, in this moment, she was glad that it was him. She was proud that it was him, this man who was intelligent and strong and whom she respected. There was much to admire about him. Margaret is finally starting to realise what John means to her and I can't wait for that to be acted upon
