Now that I have read the inimitable hlbr's "Not Every Gentleman" my need for boy!Lizzy has been mostly satisfied. . . . Though now I want boy!Emma and brothers!Dashwood. Oh, and btw, girl!Edward Ferrars. Hm. And I still want boy!Jane Bennet and Charles Bingley going on and on about how blue the sky is! And green the grass is! And the tea was perfection this morning, wasn't it? And aren't the talents of farmers amazing? We shake our heads, marvelling at the wonder that is keeping chickens, and growing barley. Amazing! While Mr. Darcy rolls his eyes.

Ah, and here I was hoping you'd write it! I really liked the idea (enough to unleash the so-ecstatic-that-can't-write-a-proper-comment fangirl, as you saw). boy!Jane and Charles were totally adorable! I really like the way you made Darcy and Lawrence think, too (but fishing!).

Hele and I thought about boy!Dashwoods the other day, but to genderswapping the plot was very complicated. Also, I really have to concentrate on the Slashed Persuasion fic before she runs out of patience with me. :D I didn't know you had offered as a beta when I found the post via Anghraine! These things really make my day.

I feel like boy!Dashwoods can be done! I mean, they still wouldn't inherit Norland, and could still end up moving to Barton Cottage, right? Except maybe they would enter the military, or something. I like the idea of making Edward, Willoughby, and Brandon girls, but omg I think I would die for male!Brandon gay for boy!Marianne. Helllllllllllllooooooo plot I didn't know I needed.
