[The full moon shines above the city as it begins to twist and turn into it's nighttime form. Maybe if you get to the roof of a building, you can spot the tower at the center of town looming in the distance.]

[Roy can just tell there's something up with this place at night. He cautiously walks through a smaller alleyway, as if he's looking for something specific]

[Trucy follows Roy, unsure whether he could help her. It is worth a shot though, since the demons haven't shown up yet.]

Excuse me?

[Whisper whisper.]

[He jumps slighty] Whose there?

[magic_sidekick]

[She waves and grins sheepishly.]

Trucy Wright... You're not a monster, right?

[firefists]

[She's sitting on the roof, nursing her nose and her pride. She's going to find him tonight and show him that useless scum can just as easily kick his ass when he's not supported by fancy tricks.]

[He's bound to walk by again. Then it would be time. Not even the demons scare her tonight.]

[getmesomewhisky]

[There's a Xanxus walking by all right, but he doesn't pay her any mind. He notices her up there, but he can't recognize her because of the mask, and he didn't bother memorizing every little detail of her outfit.]

[firefists]

[She wipes at her nose once again and gets up, preparing to jump down and challenge him again. All her muscles tensed up, she stops before jumping, that little voice stopping her. No this fight won't solve anything, but she has to defend her honor.]

[She jumps down and lands quietly, yelling and allowing her voice to echo.]

Hey. Asshole. Let's go.

[getmesomewhisky]

[He glances over at her with very little interest. Surprisingly, he remembers that voice.]

...I don't like fighting weaklings.

[priestessyukiko]

[Yukiko appears to be standing near a wall, trying to look around for something so that she could make a temporary fan, at least until it was daytime again.]

Ouch!

[She had found some pieces of splintered wood, that she accidentally brushed against. She picks them up and places them in a pocket for later, making sure they don't jab into her]

Now just to find some paper..

[Comes walking down the street behind her.]

[she hears the noise, but doesn't know what it is, so currently she is continuing with her business for a bit.. but didn't someone tell her in the morning that there was demons here?]

W-who's there?

[she wanted to make sure first]

[The only answer is footsteps getting louder until it comes into view.]

[The mask he abandoned earlier somehow found its way on Xanxus's face, much to his dismay. It refuses to come off, so he stops trying after a while and decides to climb up on a random rooftop and lay there. He sees the tower in the distance, but he doesn't really care about it. He folds his hands behind his head and closes his eyes. He comes off as being asleep, but he's just relaxing.]

[Thump. Thump. Thump.]

[Something is moving your way, Xanxus.]

[getmesomewhisky]

[He cracks an eye open and looks around for the source of the thumping, though not moving at all from his current position. Might as well fool the enemy into thinking that he's not paying attention.]

[The Taker moves next to the building, and is just shorter than the roof. He lets out a loud, low growl.]

[Little Rika is trying to gather food (if possible), as the night-time rolled on in. She seems more nervous than usual, even a little afraid. Perhaps she had a bad daydream or something, but she doesn't seem her usual cheerful self.

She is even talking in a more adult mature voice]

Am I really Rika Furude in this world? Has something gone wrong? Am I...

[she pauses her selfquestioning and sighs]

There is no point worrying about that now, I must find food and get to safety. Since this world seems so distant from the multiple reseting fragments I have been through.

[while walking to find a safe place where she can rests, she finds herself in the same place where Rika is.]

Who's there? Are you a demon in the shape of a human?
