[Maes has become accustomed to sleeping during the day now, not that he ever really got more than a few hours in. This time, he'd found a small, abandoned room with what looked like a comfortable (and his views of comfortable have changed a lot since he arrived here) cot sitting by the window

[She is walking around, mumbling to herself. She's not really paying attention to where she's going, rather, she's drawing symbols in the air. The crack of the stone embedding itself in the building snaps her out of it and she rushes over to the window to see what had happened.]

Hello? Is everyone okay? What happened?

[His breathing's just started to stabilize when a voice appears from the window]

[Maes offers a weak smile] It's nothing. Just... [a really horrible dream]

You weren't hurt were you? [Suddenly remembers flinging his stone out the window]

[She's scoping him out. Things don't seem okay...]

Nope, I'm fine, I was more worried about you.

[Big smile.]

[her smile is contagious, and he finds himself giving her a big smile in return, though it doesn't quite reach his eyes]

I'm quite alright.

[Oh, what the heck, might as well...] Just had a bit of a nightmare, that's all.

Y-yeah. I'm fine. [Somewhat forced smile]

And you? Don't think I've seen you around in a while.
