I think... destiny isn't something that just happens. If you don't like your destiny, not doing anything won't change it!

But if it was decreed you could do nothing, you would still fight?

Who would decree that? Destiny usually talks about big things. Like a side winning a war. Or four warriors restoring balance. But it never talks about the things that can make it happen... or the things that can change it.
I wouldn't give up hope. You can't change anything if you don't have that.

If the only way to win was to sacrifice one person; no other alternatives...

I guess I would say that it depends on who I'm with. If its with Inuyasha, then I guess I would say that I'll always be by your side in spirit and that I'll always love you and you'll see me again either in this world or in the next.

Waka. Who might you be, little lady?
It's good to learn moderation. [ he folds his arms, tilting his head. ] Sometimes it's all you can do.

I'd tell them I was going, but try to make it better for them! Besides, I'd see them again, one way or another...
[She pauses for a moment, then adds on.]
If I needed to, I would fight as much as I could. The outcome would have already been determined.
[But, she's done with dying, and there will be no more of that for her future.]

[She is ready to explain, if you are in need of it, Waka.]

And how do those work, baby? I'm curious. [ he wants one ]

Then they can sleep peacefully, yeah?
So I'd like to just walk with them for a while, be it for a few feet, a few miles, or across the world. As long as I can stay with them and keep them company, I'm okay with that.
So... no, I guess I wouldn't fight destiny because... even if you do fight what you think might be you destiny, I figure the fact that you're fighting is destiny itself. If that makes sense ( ... )
