Anyone seen the real manager??

I've been watching the games on MLB.com and I swear, every time they show Tracy, he looks like he's asleep, or in a coma. And, watching the pitchers screw up over and over, I'm beginning to think he really is asleep

the reason he isn't immediately yanking any starter right now is because the bullpen is already way too overworked. ian snell's start last night was the first quality start of the season, and he barely got to six innings. torres and hernandez have already been in most of the games, and capps' self-confidence is very low right now. it would be quite nice if he could yank maholm, but right now, he just can't.

I realise the bullpen is overworked. I don't know, maybe if when they showed Tracy, if he looked like he was paying attention to the game, that would help LOL Of course, it might help if MLB wasn't always showing me the video of the opposing team :) You know they aren't going to show anyone on the Pirates staff in the best light LOL
It's a long season, and, as always, I am hopeful for a great one :)

i haven't noticed tracy looking disinterested, but i'm not sure if he's ever really been known as a fiery manager anyway, especially compared to mcclendon. but i know what you mean. and i watch on mlb.tv too (a displaced bucs fan now in cubs territory, yuck), and i hate that they never show our feed. last night it took me a couple times of refreshing and eventually i got it, but tonight i guess it aired in neither city so i was getting the cincy jumbotron feed, which i hate.

I don't know what the heck that was tonight, but it truly stunk! I couldn't tell how many were out, who was at bat, how many balls/strikes, it was confusing :( But, it was a great game, and I was happy to see the Bucs not give up and almost tie the game :)
I feel for ya, I'm live here in Dodger territory, where I have spent most of my life being a Pirates fan.
It's gonna get better, I have faith in that :)
