If there was any question as to whether this show was sold out, the line snaking past the Gin Mill just before 7 p.m. dispelled any doubts. Ha! I was there last night and this article doesn't quite do justice to how crazy the night was. Hey Monday played a great set though I know they had to cut at least one song because of the power outage. But from where I was stand the crowd was really into it and it was crazy packed in there. I think having to stand out in near freezing weather for more than an hour just made the crowd that much more into it. It did turn into the latest show I've been to all year, getting out at about 12:10 am. And that odor they mentioned? was probably coming from the Purina dog food plant that's miles away from the Marquis.

Sounds like it was an amazing show! Kind of bummed I'm in the northeast and couldn't be there. I can only imagine the insanity that happened, but it seems like it was such a great time. I'm glad you had fun!
