Jacob held Renesmee's hand in his. They walked together through the trees and brush and just enjoying the new location. "You know I'm never buying you an island, right?"

Nessie laughed and shook her head. "You don't need to buy me an island. That's what we have Esme's island for. It's hardly used at all."

"Okay good. As long as we have realistic expectations for the future." Jacob smirked.

Nessie grinned up at him and squeezed his hand. "I think we're good. No islands being bought. I'll settle for some bubble bath and you."

"What, am I a piece of meat to you?" Jacob lifted their joined hands so that the bite mark scar on his wrist was in front of her.

Nessie laughed and curved her fingers around Jacob's wrist, leaving the scar bare. She lowered her head and scraped her teeth over it very, very lightly.

"Something like that," she teased him.

"I don't mind." Jacob leaned over to kiss the side of her head.

"I know," Nessie responded. She tilted her head a little. "I hear it now. Come on! Let's go swimming," she said tugging him a little further into the forest.
