Silly reception stories #3723...

I'm covering for reception again today, and someone called in looking for the GM for Sherway Gardens, his email address, and the address of the mall. She was very nice, very personable, although at the end of all that, she asked how this are going at this company. What am I supposed to say, that the company is doing poorly? I love those slips of the tongue. . . I had a co-worker say, "Love you, bye." when he hung up the phone. . . he didn't even realize it. . . hysterical.

This used to happen to me all the time at reception. ALL THE TIME. :) Don't worry about it. Probably just another weird thing with our brain chemicals. :)

Hahaha...I hate feeling like an idiot :).

One time going through the drive-thru at a McD's or something, I was relaying J's order, so it went: Him "Big Mac Combo" Me "Big Mac Combo", etc...so then, the sneaky guy he is, he goes "To go", so what do I do? I say "to go" right in the drive-thru speaker. DUH. I then tried to explain it by saying "Uh, he made me say that", of course the person on the other end of the drive-thru probably had no idea who "he" was and figured I was insane :)
