When I was a kid, my mom had a recipe for edible play-doh type stuff that I think she has unfortunately lost in the intervening years -she was an early childhood education major, and as such worked initially as a teacher/nursery school attendant and now is one of the senior administrators in the Army's child development services division. I know for certain it consisted of peanut butter, honey, and powdered milk- it may have had something else in it but I don't remember. Stuff was delicious though, and fun to play with as well.

probably this:

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup Peanut Butter
* 1 cup powdered milk
* 1/2 cup honey

What You Do:
Students help teacher measure and mix the ingredients, when finished the students can make shapes and play with their creation and then they can eat it!!

Oh my gosh! I have an idea! (run away! run away!)

Have either of you seen/heard of a little board game where you play bugs trying to get to the finish line? You roll dice and draw cards for movement and random events, but the "unique" factor to the game is that you get to make your bugs from playdoh molds, and squish them with a big plastic foot when events call for it!! It was a lot of fun when I played it before, and we all spent lots of time personalizing our race of bugs.

Now I want to play it again, with edible playdoh!
