Becky was bored.

Bored for Becky meant that she was practicing. And by "practicing," it is meant that she had arranged her target pictures on her ceiling and was shooting a nerf gun at them while on her back.

She'd use her real gun, but Miho didn't like the holes in the ceiling.

GOB was also bored. That's why he had a few bottles of alcohol when he knocked on the door. It was amazing how even his knock sounded like The Final Countdown.

"Unless you're trying for moving targets, right?" GOB joked. "Because she's dead. And dead people don't move. Unless they're playing music."

Despite having to explain the joke and add a footnote to it, GOB thought it was hysterical. He laughed through the explanation and everything.

Becky gave him a look that was almost fond and said, "Right."

"Is there something on my face?" GOB asked. He couldn't figure out why she was looking at him like that.

"No," she said, frowning and turning back to her shooting. "Why?"

"You just had a funny look on your face," GOB said. Recovering immediately, GOB said, "It was cute, though."

She smiled at him just like she had a moment prior. "Thanks."

The smile was starting to get disturbing. He needed something distracting. Either that, or he needed something to push it farther. Whatever the reasoning, he was suddenly holding sleeve-flowers. "Here," he said, surprised. He thought it was going to be a lit cigarette shot into the air for her to catch in her mouth.

GOB was lucky he grabbed the wrong jacket tonight.

She smiled more widely and took the flowers. "Thank you. Why're you here, anyway?"

"I was bored. You keep me from being bored. One way or another," GOB said. He sighed. He really hoped it was going to be the one way. Talking worked, though. He guessed.

"That's a nice thing to hear, I guess," she said, biting her lip as she fired another dart at Ava.

"Any special reason why you're shooting her right now?" GOB asked, genuinely curious.

[lesssexthanmiho]

"Nah, she's dead. I just don't have anyone else to shoot these days and don't want to get rusty," she said.

[bluth_illusions]

"Better her than me," GOB said.

[lesssexthanmiho]

"I wouldn't shoot you," Becky immediately said, looking almost wounded.

[bluth_illusions]

"Not with a real gun," GOB scoffed. "With that thing. They're annoying to get shot with. I used to do it to my brother Michael all the time. He hated it."
