Jarod entered the Sin bearing many, many gifts. Mostly chocolate and booze, and he hoped this would be enough to get the girls to tell him where his presents from Parker were. "Hello?"

"Thank you both very much," Jarod said, still a little weirded out by the tree. Maybe because it was pink. "I miss living with you all, but you should definitely stop by the new house sometime."

"You live with that guy who wore the tux," Becky noted. "Maybe we should visit, yeah."

The girls got distracted then by the entrance of another guy dressed as Santa. Carmen pulled away from Daisy long enough to say, "We're closed!"

"I-I'll pay double," he stuttered.

"We're open!" Goldie called. "What can we do you for?"

He said something very softly, and Wendy repeated it much louder. "An elf? You want an elf? Sure, we can do elf."

Miho wondered why everyone was suddenly staring at her.

Becky raised an eyebrow. "...um."

She strode out to the lobby, and after some negotiations, she stuck her head back into the room.

"You," she said, pointing at the one who looked like Julia Roberts. "You have to try to look short and sing 'Holly Jolly Christmas' most of the time, 'kay?"

The hooker rolled her eyes and went upstairs to get ready.

"Busy place tonight," Jarod remarked. "I would have thought people would be home with their families."

"I should be," Becky said. "My mom gave me hell for not going home. But she'll probably be happy I didn't, considering." She slanted a glance at Jarod.

Jarod slanted a confused look back. "Considering?"

Becky frowned. "She'll just be happy, I guess, if she gets news tomorrow," she replied cryptically.

"Then I hope she gets news," Jarod said, despite having no idea what Becky was talking about.

"I don't," Becky said, flailing. "What is wrong with you all?"

"I just wanted your mother to be happy at Christmas?" Jarod backed up a step.

"But I don't want that and why is he a dumbass?" she implored. "Why? Though I do like money. That'll be a perk."

Becky didn't quite realize how little sense she was making.

"Um...okay?" Jarod just hoped he wasn't the he who was a dumbass.

Miho patted Jarod's arm consolingly. No one really understood Becky.

"And if you're helping him and you don't find a way to bail me out of this where I get to keep some of the money, I'll never forgive you," she threatened.
