portland? vancouver? san fran? seattle?

In the midst of procrastinating on the paper I have to write for my food policy course, I decided when I would go on  vacation this summer...I am thinking end of July, early August. We are going to Vancouver for sure, but do we stay in BC or fly to Portland or San Francisco and drive up to Vancouver. Hmm. Any ideas

oooh come to portland! then seattle would be on your way up. you guys could crash here if you don't mind ummm three dogs and a cat. :P it can be a zoo, but ones the pug!

I think we have decided on San Francisco for 6 days and Yosemite for 3 days and Sonoma Valley for 1 day. No Vancouver, Seattle or Portland this time, sadly. It is my dream city, Portland.
