Obvs. for the mun and not the musecookiegotnothinNovember 15 2010, 22:23:35 UTC
You! I don't do this often enough, but I would be remiss if I failed to let you know how floored I am by your Quinn. Seriously. Floored. Despite having a show that is so inconsistent with its characterization, fond of dropping storylines, etc. etc. you've managed to carve out this lovely lovely girl who is true to the material and then some. It's been quite the pleasure threading with you and occasionally following along with her other exploits.

You have absolutely no idea how much this means to me. Like you said, the show is horribly inconsistent with it's characterizations, so I always try to stay as true to her voice as I can, but most of the time I feel like I'm winging it. And then I also have a big problem letting myself get psyched out by all the other Quinn players out there, so I really appreciate this comment! It's nice to hear that I haven't completely screwed her up yet. XD Thank you!!
Also, I've loved threading with these two and, while I only ever saw one episode of Skins, and it was before Cook came on, I absolutely adore him! Quinn likes him too, she's just not as vocal about it.

I think we all have that fear that we're just sort of winging it and or feel like we're failing miserably. I constantly wonder if I've got Cook right. British English is not an easy thing to mimic when you've got little familiarity with it aside from what you've seen on television. You shouldn't let yourself get psyched out by all the other Quinn players out there because you're just dandy. :D
Cook feels the need to let you know you're missing out on the best stuff having not seen him in action. He thinks he was the best of all the Gen 2 kids. However, he's an egotistical ass and not exactly the most likable character out there for most of fandom until late late late in s3. If you do happen to decide to watch any of the episodes he's in, I recommend seeking out the original broadcasts rather than watching the dvds, because the show just isn't the same after all the changes they made to the music and whatnot.

I know it doesn't have quite the same meaning now that I've admitted I don't actually watch Skins, but from what I know, I don't think you have anything to worry about with him.
Playing with these two really does make me want to watch Skins. Everybody raves about it, so I'm kind of curious as to what I'm missing. And I don't think I'd have an issue liking him at all. The assholes/bad guys tend to be my favorite characters in any book/show/movie.
Also, this probably shouldn't make me as happy as it does:

This shouldn't be as hilarious as it is, but it is. Oh Jack. Never ever change. (It's only the first half that's worth laughing at, unless you want to see the one tattoo that I conveniently pretend Cook doesn't have because it only existed as a one time gag.)

Everytime I watch it I actually tear up I'm laughing so hard. I'd pretty much pay to see the two worst dancers on Glee (Chord and Cory) do the Carlton dance.

It's a really nice one. Animated mood themes are my favorite kind of mood theme.
Pshaw. No worries. I wasn't even supposed to be around today. I just didn't have anything left to do at work so it was a short day. You sound mighty unhappy about that prospect.

Mine too. They're just more fun.
I'm not big on shopping in general. I 'm the kind of girl who knows what I want and just wants to get in and out. So dress shopping is torture. As long as my bridesmaid dress isn't hideous though, I'll be fine.
Plus, I have The Town to come home to. I love that movie so much more than I should.

Soooo.....this has nothing to do with either of them, and I never even really liked this show, so tell me why I can't stop watching this.

Not that you need a mood theme or anything.

Sorry I wasn't around tonight. My friends and I went to see Narnia, then went out to dinner. And tomorrow I get to go wedding dress shopping. Ugh.
