Watching stuff on 9/11, news people bringing up the "tragedy" and other words designed to tug at the heartstrings of the American (read: simple-minded) viewer. Rather, bringing this whole thing up once again when there's talk of going to war with Iran...
Yeah, I think it was a horrible and tragic event, and something that will live with us as a dark spot forever, but I don't need reminders of it. Yes, I know that Moussaoui, an Al-Quaeda member who was supposed to hijack a plane is on trial, and yes, I think that's a good thing. But the way they're treating it just feels so... manipulative. Showing the same footage over and over again and playing the same calls... talking about who they are finally identifying these people as... going on and on... It feels like they're trying to rally support for another war.
Yes, the news is evil. You should send them emails complaining. It feels good. I did it the other day. I told one of the anchors her new style of makeup makes her look OLD. MWahahahahaha! Mer. but seriously, it does make you feel better. :D
