I'm jealous of your school's band and it looks like everyone seems to want to get to states. Because I don't think our band does, seeing as we're in ninth place.

Eh, it doesn't matter what place you have going into States.
Last year we went in with 9th or 10th,
and we ended up placing 4th. It was sweet.
